These are maps I made for a Subie meet, I visited them myself with Justin over 5 hours in the S. Don't stop in Oxford, that place sucks.
North of Oxford
Features:- The first area is smooth pavement at 55mph, its so curvy I could not even hit the limit in places! Hit it both directions.
- The the rest is all broken roads, paved but in disrepair. Lowered cars are not permitted.
- Many blind hills, so brake abuse is a given for a spirited run.
- Some locals on the roads and one lane areas where passing is impossible.
- The bad areas are not recommended for novices, or 2WD. I desperately wanted the longer suspension travel and AWD security of the Rex, but the S was still extremely thrilling if a bit dangerous. This is a rally car stage when attacked at the speed limit.
- Many one lane steel support bridges, some quite scenic. This route can be enjoyed at a slow pace.

South of Oxford
Features:- Many smooth roads, some are 2 lane size with no lines.
- Many very technical groups of corners.
- Indian Creek (Point F) is an epic road with wide variety of turns, but actually is a dead end unlike what GMaps shows. Bring a chainsaw, or just backtrack for double the enjoyment.
- The small technical sections must be attacked without interruption of the public. Slow down and wait on the straits.

Southeast of Oxford
Features:- The 90 degree sections are much more various and entertaining that they initially appear.
- Mostly all smooth roads.
- There are extra, small technical sections not shown on the map that can be taken at head spinning speeds. Some turns even have runoff areas.
- Several picture friendly locations along the way.

Fontana Lodge to North Dragon
North Carolina and Tennessee
Features:- Curviest road in America, possibly the world
- Not many flowing corners, average speed will be under 40mph
- Seriously abusive on tires and brakes for those looking for maximum corner speed
- When you encounter slower vehicles, pull over on one of the many paved sections where there is a straight behind you, and watch for people coming up behind.
- For those who stick to the rules, this is a very safe road.
- I highly highly recommend a partner for the Dragon, maximum 4 in a group. Ensure you trust your partner with your safety.
- I feel that south bound is safer, while north bound is more thrilling while more dangerous and requiring slower cornering speeds.

Fontana Road, South of the Lodge
North Carolina
Features:- Smooth and flowing road, 50mph. You cannot safely maintain 50mph
- For some, better than the Dragon as is less technical, and less cambered turns
- Downhill (southbound) is hard on the brakes, uphill is half fuel economy
- Few pull over areas

Cherohala Skyway
North Carolina, Tennessee
Features:- An epic journey across mountain tops.
- Hundreds of fast sweeping turns. Native ground to the GT-R, do not attempt to chase.
- Moderate speed limits and low persecution (cops) risk, make for exceptional average speeds. Larger groups are best.
- Many pull over areas, required for brake cool downs for non-super cars at maximum attack.

Fontana to Franklin Run, alternate return
Features:- An annual lunch run, including many sweeping turns at a high average speed.
- The alternative route is very scenic and interesting, but only recommended for AWD and non-race suspensions.

Alternate route to Cherohala
Features:- This alternative route is very scenic and interesting, but only recommended for AWD and non-race suspensions.

We need new maps!!!! Someone on this forum should dedicate their life to continuing the epic work you have starting. What should we call this person. The "mapman"? And what do you have to do to get a title like Event Planner? But anyways, the mapman shall scour the google globe and find the bestest roads and post them here or somehwere. What doth thou thinketh?
