Sept dates are open, the August date I will be out of town in Austin TX.
I was supposed to be in a wedding on the 10th, but I'm pretty sure I'm not friends with that guy anymore and won't be going, so I'm open for any of the dates.
And the +1 is a maybe, although probably not. My wife is very close-minded with regards to everything on the interwebs, and she thinks everyone on here is a dragon-slaying world of warcraft loser (sometimes me included). Oh well.

Oh my god that would be awesome!! I'm really gonna have to talk her into this just so we can do that...
The wedding story is a bunch of drama. My best friend from school was one of the guys who built the hovercraft with me, and it's his wedding. Anyways, we only got the thing about 80% completed in time for the big show at school and graduation. Afterwards, he and the other guy on the team pretty much abandoned the project and left it up to me to finish the craft and build a trailer. Plus they both owe me quite a bit of money - one of them over $1000. So as you can imagine, I'm not too happy with either of them and am pretty much done with them and won't be partaking in that wedding. Oh well.
You're going about this all wrong. People get plenty of money at their wedding. And if you can work yourself into giving a toast, no better place to put someone on the spot than at their wedding. All eyes on them.
