FS: F20C1 Engine and Trans from MY02 w/ 59k $2500

I've decided finally on an LS1 swap so in order to purchase a donor car I need to sell the motor and transmission. I will not sell the transmission until the motor sells. $2000 takes the motor by itself with all accessories. The motor and trans are still in the car and being driven, you can hear the motor run before buying. I'll have a leak down test and compression test done soon but everything should be fine. Transmission includes a very stiff aftermarket clutch.

It's been done once or twice. There's a writeup on S2Ki about someone who did it. I think he turbo'd it too. The thread is like 32 pages long I didn't read the whole thing. But still, why not just get an S2000?

PS- The F20 has a gold powdercoated valve cover and a carbon-kevlar spark plug cover= fancy

wow this is a very interesting qoute, we are actually the shop that did the Red Miata w/ the f20c back in 2005. we have the original super street mag to prove it. but on a side note it is a big pain in the ass to do, we had to make several parts/driveshaft/relocate the steering rack, it is not a fun swap. but anyway.

i would like to see/hear this engine/trans combo run & inspect it. serious buyer. cash in hand

Decided I'm just going to keep the F20. LS1 would be fun but I know it'd take a while and I've had way too much down time with the care already. I mean I've had the car for two years and only put 6k miles on it!
