Hey guys, there was an issue with people being rude to the volunteers that were watching the gate at our parking area. I was pointed out as one of the people being rude. When Pete brought this to my attention I didn't recall even going to the gate, much less being rude, since then my girlfriend reminded me that we did go to the gate, but neither of us think we were rude in any way to the people at mid-ohio. I am still going to apologize to whomever I need to when Pete gets that information to me, and I've apologized to the group as a whole, and will continue to do so. The behavior people are describing seems very out of character with how I was raised, but my inability to recall the event worries me.
The people at mid-ohio were all doing a great job and the parking they provided us was second to none. I wanted to apologize to this group specifically as well. It appears there was some kind of misunderstanding and I feel terrible to have played any part in embarrassing the community or being rude to the volunteers.
I think from now on I'll attend events on my own as it sounds like I am unable to handle representing a group like this.
Thank you for the opportunity and the great time! I look forward to seeing you all at local meets.

Pete has said via PM that I don't need to apologize and that they are happy with us as a group. It sounds like it was some kind of misunderstanding or something, IDK. There was a lot of confusion and the amount those girls were getting harassed may have had them on edge and they could have took something wrong, I don't know. I tried to smile and say thank you to all of the people I saw, the degree to which they accommodated us was truly impressive.
I had a great time, I think we all had a great time, and at the end of the day that's what matters.

NOT true....don't even begin to start thinking that way. I have no doubt that this was all a misunderstanding.
Mine is finally naked again. It really does look like something is missing.
The surprising number of comments I got today on it helped settle me back in.
